SPOP offers comprehensive mental health counseling at its Clinic on Manhattan's Upper West Side and at designated senior service sites throughout Manhattan.
SPOP also offers home visits to clients who are unable to travel to appointments, allowing mental health professionals to reach seniors who are otherwise isolated. Each client receives a comprehensive evaluation conducted by a trained clinician and a psychiatrist. Upon acceptance, the client may receive one or more of the following services:
Individual and group counseling is available in English, Spanish, French, Creole, Mandarin and Korean. Eligibility: Adults age 55 and over. Fees: Counseling fees operate on a sliding scale determined by client income. Medicare and private insurance are accepted for approved services.
